In the shoes of… Chantal, Project Manager

Chantal shows de lot of energy and good mood. The desire to move forward pulls her out of her bed every morning since she hates to remain idle…

Arrived 3 months ago at BIOCORP, Chantal quickly found her place on the team thanks to her personal and professional qualities.

She is currently in charge of the management of the Mallya project with the American company Chronicare. She coordinates the teams working on product development and takes care of interfaces with the customer.

On a daily basis, Chantal combines listening, analysis and management. It is important to her to understand the client’s expectations in order to be able to translate them internally to the teams, who themselves have a certain number of technical, financial and time constraints, all in order to achieve a product that will satisfy everyone. Her leadership role is essential in the success of this kind of project. The international dimension of her job is very important for her because she admits she needs intercultural exchanges. This is not surprising since she mixes different cultures herself, since, Dutch by birth, French by adoption, Chantal also speaks English fluently and has traveled extensively in her previous missions…

Chantal requires a job well done. Her driving force is to carry out a project that will not only win the support of the client, but also and above all that will satisfy the needs of the final patient. Her altruistic nature is pivotal in her approach to teamwork. Proof is this quote from Abbé Pierre who guides her in her everyday life: “We are never as happy as in the happiness we give. To give is to receive “. She adds, “You see, that’s it. A good gesture a day to give someone a smile gives me the greatest happiness “.

To a young employee, she would simply advise not to hesitate to speak, to be strong enough and not to allow anyone to walk on one’s feet.

Finally, if given the opportunity, she would like to meet the singer of U2, Bono, whom she admires as much for his music as for his personality. Having a real political conscience, the singer is involved in many humanitarian and political causes. He doesn’t hesitate to convey messages of peace, of appeal for fighting against discrimination whatever they are. So many things that touch Chantal on a more personal level…
