1. Scope of application

This privacy policy applies to the BIOCORP Production website and to personal data collected exclusively via said website. The privacy policy presented here does not apply outside this scope.

2. Personal data collected by BIOCORP Production

The personal data that BIOCORP Production collects on the Website is used to manage our relationship with you and process your requests. BIOCORP Production therefore processes data that you provide directly on the Website and data that we collect automatically. BIOCORP Production only processes personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. BIOCORP Production undertakes not to process this data in a manner incompatible with these purposes.

2.1 The nature of the data

a. Personal data collected via the “Contact” form and/or the paper IFU request form

BIOCORP Production collects personal data about you when you personally fill out the “Contact” form and/or the paper IFU request form. The data that BIOCORP Production collects is as follows:

• Your name
• Your first name
• Your country
• Your email
• Your message when it contains one or more pieces of personal data
• Your postal address if you are requesting a paper copy of the IFU
• The serial number of the device concerned by a paper IFU request

b. Information that BIOCORP Production collects automatically

BIOCORP Production may collect information automatically when you browse our website. The information collected includes the following:

• Details of your browsing activity on the Website
• Your IP address
• Your web browser
• Your operating system

2.2. The legal bases on which we base our data processing

With regard to the personal data you provide us with (see 2.1.a), BIOCORP Production processes your personal data on the legal basis of legitimate interest. BIOCORP Production therefore uses this data for the sole purpose of assisting you and responding to your questions. With regard to the personal data that BIOCORP Production collects automatically (see 2.1.b), BIOCORP Production has implemented a specific policy concerning cookies, which is explained in more detail here. 2.3. How long your data is stored

BIOCORP Production undertakes to ensure that the retention period for your data is determined and proportionate to the purpose of the processing. BIOCORP Production bases its decisions on the retention period for personal data on the recommendations of the regulations in force relating to the protection of personal data and the CNIL. In cases where BIOCORP Production needs to retain personal data for longer than recommended by the applicable regulations on personal data protection or the CNIL, BIOCORP Production undertakes to carry out an impact assessment and to inform users. BIOCORP Production will retain personal data relating to communication for as long as necessary to enable us to process your request. Once your issue has been resolved, we will delete the communication data within six (6) months. For the avoidance of doubt, information relating to cookies is retained for thirteen (13) months.

All information you provide us with will be stored on secure servers. BIOCORP Production makes every effort to protect the personal data of employees and third parties as effectively as possible. However, due to the nature of the Internet and the risks associated with transmitting information online, complete data security cannot be guaranteed.
